An image-capture unit (3) of the image-capture device (101) captures the image of a subject in a state in which the infrared light is projected by the first infrared-ray projector (9). A synchronization-signal transmitting unit (76t) of the image-capture device (101) transmits to an external destination a synchronization signal for synchronizing a timing at which a second projection control unit provided to an image-capture device other than the image-capture device (101) causes infrared light to be projected using a second infrared-ray projector, and the timing at which the first projection control unit (71) causes infrared light to be projected using the first infrared-ray projector (9).
