Provided are a route search system whereby a route search can be performed which takes into account eligibility for travel by automatic driving control, a route search method, a computer program, and a data structure for a cost table used in a route search. The present invention is configured so that when a recommended route from a departure point to a destination is searched which includes an automatic driving section in which automatic driving control of a vehicle is allowed, a cost value is calculated using an automatic driving cost table (32) set so that a lower cost value is calculated the better suited a route is for travel by automatic driving control, and a recommended route is searched on the basis of the calculated cost value.
