APPLICATION OF ISOFORSKOLIN IN PREVENTING AND TREATING CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE

The present invention provides a new application of isoforskolin (ISOF) as a compound in preventing and treating a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The ISOF can be independently used as a pharmaceutical or health-care effective component and can also be used for preparing a tablet, a buccal tablet, a capsule, a granule, an oral solution, an injection, an aerosol, an emplastrum and the like with other components that do not have a repulsive effect together. In this invention, administration modes, such as ISOF oral and intragastric administration and intraperitoneal injection, are used, experimental studies are carried out on two animal models of inducing mice COPD by inhaling elastinase and cigarette smoke, and it is proved that the ISOF has obvious prevention and treatment effects on the COPD induced by inhaling the elastinase and the cigarette smoke. In addition, the ISOF of the present invention proves to be safe according to results of tests of acute toxicity and long-term toxicity, an adult daily dosage is 10-120 mg, and the administration modes comprise oral administration, injection administration and aerosol administration.
