摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an optical lens for which build-up of a flange part is suppressed and which enables positioning to be carried out easily; a lens unit which includes the optical lens; an image pickup module; an electronic instrument; and an injection-molding mold and an injection molding method for the optical lens. An optical lens (200) includes an optical function part (204) having optical functions, and a flange part (202) formed around the optical function part (204). The flange part (202) has in a lateral surface thereof a cut portion (208) which is formed by cutting a gate part (238), and the flange part is provided with a recessed portion (212) in at least a portion of a region (210) in which the flange part (202) overlaps a region obtained by joining together with straight lines the optical axis center (206) of the optical lens and both ends of the cut portion (208) in a case where the cut portion is viewed from the optical axis direction of the optical lens (200). The recessed portion (212) is provided to both surfaces of the flange part (202).
