The invention relates to a vehicle (100) having a sensor arrangement (102) for detecting first data, which data enable the determining of a position of the vehicle (100). The vehicle (100) furthermore has a control unit (104) for generating an activation request (10) to a central system (300) for activation of a stationary lighting unit (200) and a communication unit (103) for transmitting the activation request (10) to the central system (300), wherein the activation request (10) has second data which conform to the first data or are acquired from the second data. The invention further relates to a lighting system and to a method for activating a stationary lighting unit by a vehicle.
