A neck-worn electrocardiogram detection device (10), comprising: a housing (12), having a first surface (122) and a second surface (124) opposite to the first surface (122); a first electrode and a second electrode, located on the first surface (122); an attachment component (14), combined with the housing (12) and used for being attached to a neck of a user; and an electrocardiogram signal extraction circuit, used for extracting an electrocardiogram signal in cooperation with the first and second electrodes. When the user wears the device (10) through the attachment component (14), the housing (12) is arranged in front of a body of the user, and when a hand of the user applies a force to the housing (12) in a direction toward the body, the housing (12) is fixed between the hand and the body and produces a stable contact between the first and second electrodes and the skin in the front part of the body, so that the device (10) enters a state of capable of extracting an electrocardiogram signal. The device (10) can easily accomplish a stable electrode contact and obtain a clear electrocardiogram.
