DEVICE FOR DISCRETE MEASUREMENT OF THE BRIX/ACID RATIO IN WINE-MAKING GRAPES, BY MEANS OF MULTIBAND NIR REFLECTANCE

The invention relates to a device for the discrete measurement of the Brix/acid ratio in wine-making grapes, by means of multiband NIR reflectance. The purpose of said device is to detect and measure the Brix/acid ratio in wine-making grapes. On the basis of said ratio, the device identifies the stages of maturity of the grapes. This is carried out automatically using measurements of reflectance in certain near infrared wavelengths. After the calibration of the device, the measurement is carried out in a timely manner over the surface of the fruit which is placed inside the system. This system can be used for quality control in the food industry, in agriculture and in related fields that focus on research and development.
