Disclosed is a method for the production of two- or three-dimensional silk products, wherein a two- or three-dimensional silk product is treated with a silk solvent for a limited period of time so that a partial disintegration of the silk product is obtained whereafter the partially disintegrated silk product is re-stabilised with physical beta-sheet induction.
