Disclosed is a composition for preventing and treating gastroenteritis of nursery pigs characterized by containing an extract of Artemisia. The composition shows an effect of preventing and treating gastroenteritis through an activity of enhancing immunity of nursery pigs. Provided is a composition of achieving effect of preventing and treating gastroenteritis through an immunity-enhancing effect, not showing an effect of treating gastroenteritis based on antibacterial activity. In the composition, the Artemisia extract is characterized by extracting Artemisia with isopropanol.
