A learning method and a testing method of a fob key and a smart key ECU are disclosed. The learning method and the testing method of a fob key and a smart key ECU of the present invention comprise: a first learning step for storing serial numbers of a fob key in an internal repository of a smart key electronic control unit (ECU); a second learning step for storing serial numbers of the smart key ECU in an internal repository of the fob key; and a step for testing the smart key ECU and the fob key. According to the present invention, provided are a learning method and a testing method of a fob key and a smart key ECU which allows a user to check an inner repository of the fob key when malfunction of learning or recognizing the fob key occurs and to test the malfunction of the fob key by storing serial numbers of the smart key ECU in the inner repository of the fob key in a process of learning the fob key and the smart key ECU.
