The present invention provides a coating method to prevent corrosion of a metal substrate using electrophoretic deposition, and the coating method includes applying a voltage to apply nanoparticles on a metal substrate using electrophoretic deposition after a photo-generated corrosion prevention coating solution containing the nanoparticles to the metal substrate. According to the present invention, the nanoparticles are uniformly applied on a surface of the metal substrate using the electrophoretic deposition to effectively protect the metal substrate against corrosion through the photo-generated non-sacrificial cathodic corrosion prevention coating; thereby coating be quickly and easily be performed and mass production realized.
