The present invention relates to a method for extracting theaflavin from tea, the method comprising: a first step of soaking fermented tea in 20 times of alcohol; a second step of performing extraction on the fermented tea; and a third step of filtering green tea obtained in the second step, followed by concentration under reduced pressure, wherein hot-water extraction is performed on the fermented tea using 20 times of 50% ethanol, thereby efficiently extracting a large amount of theaflavin and thus improving work efficiency.
