The present invention relates to an alternating current (AC) direct type LED driving circuit and, more particularly, to an AC direct type LED driving circuit having a flicker reduction function, which can reduce a flicker level of light by reducing a difference between minimum and maximum values of light intensity according to each light turn-on time when each group of LEDs is turned on in the AC direct type LED driving circuit and an LED lighting device using the same. According to the present invention, the AC direct type LED driving circuit having a flicker reduction function includes: an LED lighting unit including an n number of LEDs, wherein a first LED is positioned at the shortest distance from a connection point with a power supply unit, and an n^th LED is positioned at the longest distance from the power supply unit; a plurality of switching circuit units connected to output terminals of the LEDs forming the LED lighting unit to form current supply channels for the LEDs; a secondary channel unit including switches separately connected to the output terminals of the LEDs forming the LED lighting unit, and secondary power supply lines connecting the switches; and a valley-fill circuit unit connected to the secondary channel unit to supply power to the secondary power supply line.
