MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR SECOND COIL SPRING OF RAILWAY VEHICLE

The present invention relates to a mounting structure for a secondary coil spring of a railway vehicle capable of maintaining the vertical rigidity of a secondary coil spring while obtaining flexibility against the horizontal leaning of a chassis when supporting the secondary coil spring engaged between a chassis frame and a bogie frame of a railway vehicle. The present invention comprises: an aligning post protruding from the upper part of the bogie frame or the lower part of the chassis frame corresponding thereto; a semi-cylindrical base plate as a rectangular plate body having an aligning groove formed on one surface to fit the aligning post while the other surface is laterally curved with a curvature; a buffer pad as a plate body attached to the other surface of the base plate while being formed of a synthetic resin material having elastic restoring force; and a prop block having one surface attached to the other surface of the buffer pad and the other flat surface on which a support post fitted in one end of the secondary coil spring is formed at the center. The present invention can maintain the rigidity against vertical load, obtain the horizontal flexibility, and control the flexibility by controlling the curved surface direction of the base plate, compression variation caused by the thickness difference of the buffer pad in the direction and the arrangement angle thereof, thereby stabilizing the riding quality of passengers against the leaning of the chassis.
