The present invention relates to: a method for adjusting the anthocyanin biosynthesis of a plant, wherein the method comprises a step of adjusting the expression of a gene coding a basic helix-loop-helix 113 (bHLH113) protein derived from Arabidopsis thaliana and consisting of an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2; a method for producing a transgenic plant having the adjusted anthocyanin biosynthesis of a plant by transforming a plant cell through a recombinant vector including the gene coding a bHLH113 protein; a transgenic plant having adjusted anthocyanin biosynthesis and produced through the method and a seed of the same; a composition for adjusting the anthocyanin biosynthesis of a plant, wherein the gene coding a bHLH113 protein is included as an active ingredient; and a variant plant having increased anthocyanin biosynthesis, wherein the expression of the gene coding a bHLH113 protein is inhibited.
