The present invention relates to a commercial data trasceiving system using LED digital signage based on visible light communication (VLC), a VLC method, a VLC system, and a display device and electronic device performing VLC and, more specifically, to a commercial data trasceiving system using LED digital signage based on VLC, which provides a user with information related to advertisements, products, or commerce in real time regardless of interior and exterior using VLC, a VLC method, a VLC system, and a display device and electronic device performing visible light communication. According to one aspect of the present invention, a VLC system includes: a transmission device which generates a communication frame based on commercial data and relay data, encodes the communication frame in a first visible light for image output, and outputs an image to transmit the communication frame in the form of a visible light; a relay device which receives the first visible light transmitted from the transmission device, decodes the first visible light to acquire the communication frame, determines whether to relay the first visible light based on the relay data included in the communication frame, and encodes the commercial data in a second visible light according to a determination result, and transmits the second visible light; and an electronic device which receives at least one of the first and second visible lights, decodes the at least one visible light to acquire the commercial data, and outputs an advertisement in the form of one among text, a still image, video, and audio or a combination thereof.
