The present invention includes a novel Honolulu kiol methyl derivative as an active ingredient , and this inflammation provides for treatment of diseases , preventing or improving composition . Honolulu kiol methyl derivative of the present invention is by inhibition of COX-2 (Cyclooxigenase-2), shows the anti-inflammatory activity . Thus , methyl Honolulu kiol derivative of the present invention can be developed with an active ingredient of a therapeutic agent of various inflammatory diseases and health functional food .
