The present invention relates to a position compensation method of an indoor positioning system using a wireless LAN, which may include: an inertia sensor; a wireless LAN signal receiver for measuring received signal intensity of a wireless LAN signal; and a control method which selects one of a positioning method of a user device using the inertia sensor, a positioning method of the user device using the received signal intensity of the wireless LAN signal, and a positioning method of the user device using a cell ID, on the basis of movement distance of the user device and the received signal intensity of the wireless LAN signal, and which measures the position of the user device using the selected positioning method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
