ORAL DEVICE HAVING EXPANDABLE MODULE FOR MAINTAINING AIRWAY OF PATIENT OPEN

According to the present invention, an oral device having an expandable module for maintaining airway of a patient open includes: a main body formed to be extended to include an inner hollow structure which joins an insertion part, inserted into a mouth of the patient, with a joining part connected with an oxygenator on one side thereof; and an expansion module which is arranged on one side of the main body and is expanded by elastic restoring force after absorbing moisture or being compressed. According to the present invention, the oral device for maintaining airway of a patient open seals the main body, inserted into the airway, and an area around the airway. Therefore, the main body of the oral device for maintaining airway is prevented from moving unnecessarily, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation can be rapidly and easily performed by the oxygenator such as an air mask bag unit (AMBU). The expandable module is separately formed with a water absorbing material and a flexible material in a dual structure. Therefore, the oral device for keeping airway can not only protect the mouth of the patient but also reduce time for expansion in proportion to the volume of the flexible material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
