The present invention relates to a method for extracting manganese during a process of recovering lithium in sea water and a method for manufacturing an adsorbent for recovering lithium in sea water using the same and, more specifically, to a method for extracting manganese during a process of recovering lithium in sea water comprising: a step of adsorbing lithium in sea water by using an adsorbent consisting of manganese oxide; a step of obtaining a lithium desorption solution by sticking the lithium adsorbed in the adsorbent by using an acidic solution; and a step of recovering manganese ions contained in the lithium desorption solution through reaction formula 1.
