The present invention relates to: a method for detecting mycoplasma which can be easily contaminated when a cell treating agent and a biological medicine are produced; a primer set used for the same method; and a kit for detecting mycoplasma including the same primer set. If the primer set for amplifying nucleic acid which is newly produced is used, the mycoplasma, which can be easily contaminated when the cell treating agent and the biological medicine are produced, stored, and applied, can be rapidly, correctly, and repeatedly detected. According to a nucleic acid amplification method provided by the present invention, the method for detecting mycoplasma which can replace a sterility test of the prior cell treating agent and is economical, rapid, and accurate can be provided. The method for detecting mycoplasma includes the steps of: (a) extracting DNA from a sample to be tested; (b) performing a nucleic acid amplification by using the extracted DNA and the primer set; and (c) detecting the amplified nucleic acid product.
