The present invention relates to a lightweight railroad structure suspended in the air. The structure includes: a first station pier installed on a first station; a second station pier installed on a second station; an upper structure which is installed between the first and second station piers to enable a train vehicle to move on the trail; and a cable which is installed between the first and second station piers to be suspended in the air to support the upper structure. According to the present invention, the suspended lightweight railroad structure without a lower structure such as piers or the like is installed to solve the traffic problems caused during the construction period, a city appearance problem, and an urban space utilization problem caused by a lower structure occupying an urban space. The present invention can also reduce the construction costs for the foundation and pier construction process which takes a high proportion in the entire construction process to be more advantageous in economic terms.
