Disclosed are a foreign language learning system using smart glasses and a method thereof. The present invention is completed by wearable smart glasses. The present invention comprises: smart glasses, which a user can wear, for producing image signals by acquiring an image corresponding to the view of a user and receiving and outputting learning images and a composite tone; an object recognition server for receiving the image signals from the smart glasses, performing object recognition of an object included in the image signal and transmitting object information corresponding to the recognized object; and a foreign language conversion server for receiving the objet information from the object recognition server, converting the same into a foreign word corresponding to the object information, producing a composite tone corresponding to the pronunciation of the foreign word and learning image to display the foreign word, and transmitting the same to the smart glasses.
