The present invention relates to a power generation system using cooling water for FPSO and FPSO having the same. The present invention provides a power generation system using cooling water for FPSO to prevent the waste of energy during the supply and discharge of cooling water by using a generation unit which generates electric energy using energy due to falling of cooling water when the cooling water used on the top of a hull is discharged to the bottom of the hull; and to improve the energy efficiency of a ship by generating separate electric energy without the use of an engine fuel, and FPSO having the same.
