According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for servicing the return container comprises the steps of: receiving shipping carrier identification information and return place inventory management information (including at least one of container return place information, priority information between return places, and return inventory information) from a shipping carrier terminal by using a server for managing the return container to perform return place inventory management registration; receiving at least one of return due registration information and return due calculation basic information from the server for managing the return container to register a container return due; receiving return container advance information (including at least one of shipping carrier identification information, D/O number, B/L number, container number, container type, container return date, container return place) from the shipping carrier terminal by using the server for managing the return container; and comparing at least one of the container return date, the return place, and the shipping carrier identification information of the return container advance information with at least one of the container return due, the return place, and actual owner information, which are previously registered, of the corresponding container to determine whether the return of the corresponding container is permissible.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
