The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, capable of improving characteristics of the lithium secondary battery; to a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery; and a lithium secondary battery. Provided is the manufacturing method of a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising the steps of mixing spherical graphite that allows reversible lithium intercalation/deintercalation and silicon; mixing low-crystalline carbon with the spherical graphite and silicon which have been mixed; manufacturing the spherical graphite, silicon and low-crystalline carbon which have been mixed into pellets; and heating the pellets to sinter the pellets.
