The present invention relates to a composition for preventing alopecia or promoting hair growth comprising peptides for promoting hair growth in which hair growth promoting effect is verified, and which are represented by chemical formulas 1-8. The peptides of the present invention have enhanced hair growth effect. Especially, the peptides of the present invention which are prepared with complex compounds of copper in a dimer form have higher use safety and stability than conventional peptide compositions, thereby being easily used as a composition for preventing alopecia or promoting hair growth.
