In the present invention, disclosed are an electrode catalyst for Ir-Ni based ternary non-platinum metal fuel cells, a manufacturing method thereof and a fuel cell using the same. For this, in the present invention, provided is an electrode catalyst for fuel cells including Ir; Ni; and active ingredients of the Ir-Ni based ternary non-platinum having at least one type of metal among Cu and Mn.
