Provided are a variety of embodiments of a method for decoding a video stream in which a video stream received with respect to each of one or more layers is decoded and determining an output window from a recovered image. Provided is the method for decoding the video stream, comprising the steps of: obtaining from the video stream received from each of one or more layers, video window number information for a recovered image sequence of the layers and video window offset information for each video window; obtaining sequence window information for a recovered image sequence of a current layer; and determining one or more of the windows, which is an area for output, inside of each recovered image by using the window offset information and/or the sequence window information, when the recovered image sequence is generated by decoding each of the layers.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
