A SMART UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS FOR CITY FACILITIES AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A smart uninterruptible power supply apparatus for city facilities is capable of supplying emergency electric power stored in a battery to the city facilities even if commercial power is not supplied from the outside, or backup power is insufficient by rapidly increasing power consumption due to an air conditioning or heating in the summer season or the winter season; and previously preventing major power outages caused by an electric power shortage, by maintaining the power consumption of commercial power as 0 during an allowed time in the city facilities. Moreover, the smart uninterruptible power supply apparatus for the city facilities analyzes power consumption states of the batteries of each uninterruptible power supply apparatus in an external information server by periodically transmitting the power consumption states of the batteries to the external information server, and is cable of supplying a time on which the batteries will be replaced, to an administrator. Accordingly, the administrator can easily confirm the time to replace the batteries without accessing each uninterruptible power supply apparatus, thereby improving efficiency of maintenance and a repair.
