The present invention relates to a medium composition for backward differentiating induced pluripotency stem cell including an extract of Ecklonia cava, and to a method for differentiating induced pluripotency stem cell manufactured by using the medium composition into chondrocyte. According to the present invention, the medium composition can effectively manufacture induced pluripotency stem cell by using mesenchymal stem cell, and the manufactured pluripotency stem cell can be differentiated into chondrocyte, thereby being used as a cell medicine.
