The present invention provides an apparatus for easily and simply releasing the connection state of a connector used in a high voltage battery by a lever using the principle of the lever. Disclosed is the apparatus for releasing the connection state of the connector for the battery which includes a fixing unit which is fixed on a housing of a socket connector, the lever which is located on the housing of a plug connector combined by corresponding to the housing of the socket connector and is connected to one side of the fixing unit by a hinge, and a release pin which is integrated with the lever, is inserted between the housing of the plug connector and the housing of the socket connector when the lever is horizontally unfolded with regard to the fixing unit and releases the connection state of the plug connector and the socket connector by separating the housing of the plug connector from the housing of the socket connector when the lever is vertically folded with regard to the fixing unit.
