The present invention relates to a learning system and a learning book for preschool education; a learning book recognition device; and an operating method thereof, capable of outputting voice corresponding to printed materials in a learning book as well as showing the concept or meaning of the printed materials in the learning book. The learning book contains specific signs which cannot be recognized visually and also contains printed materials showing the concept of meaning of the specific signs; the learning book recognition device recognizes the specific signs contained in the printed materials of the learning book; and voice data is outputted, being applied with the concept or meaning of the specific signs which is recognized by learning related data corresponding to the recognized specific signs.
