PRODUCTION METHOD OF STILBENE FROM STYRENE MONOMER RESIDUES OCCURED IN PETROCHEMICAL PROCESSES

The present invention relates to a method for producing trans-stilbene from styrene monomer residues generated by a side reaction during a styrene monomer production process in a petrochemical plant by using a process of distillation and extraction or of crystallization and separation. The process of distillation and extraction includes steps of mixing the styrene monomer residues with heavy oil, and distilling, purifying, and drying the mixture.
