The present invention relates to a hybrid device comprising at least one thermoelectric element (3) which generates an electric current from a temperature gradient applied between two active surfaces (4a, 4b) in a first area (91). The hybrid device (80) comprises a first circuit (1) referred to as a high temperature circuit to allow a flow of a first fluid referred to as a high temperature fluid, and a second circuit (2) referred to as a low temperature circuit to allow a flow of a second fluid referred to as a low temperature fluid having a lower temperature than the high temperature fluid to generate a temperature gradient. The hybrid device (80) further comprises a second area (92) where a heat exchange between the low temperature fluid and the higher temperature fluid is allowed. The hybrid device (80) is designed in such a way that the high temperature fluid flows in an unilateral direction referred to as a first direction (L) to flow through the hybrid device. The first area (91) and the second area (92) are disposed in series in the first direction (L).
