The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting cancer metastasis or recurrence including extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, fragment thereof or extracted compounds thereof wherein the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi or an extracted compound thereof which is bicalin or bicalein efficiently inhibits epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) caused by Transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) and cellular motion, thereby being used in cancer metastasis, and inhibits sphere formation and motion of MCF-7 cell which is a human breast cancer cell line and accordingly prevents recurrence of stem cells of cancer, thereby being used for inhibiting the recurrence of cancer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
