Disclosed are a method and a system for automation of test for a telecommunications system using a smart phone, which provides common scenario patterns, such as Lego blocks, to allow a tester to configure test scenarios flexibly while allowing predicted test values to be inputted into test scenarios, thereby providing a test environment wherein: the test planned by a tester can be performed for a target telecommunications system during idle periods (for example, night time after office hours) without additional manual monitoring; a simulator automatically refers to result values predicted by the tester and test results to determine the test results, compare the same to the predicted result values and accordingly decide whether the test passes or fails; and, if the test is decided to fail, connection to the target communications system is performed to collect and store log files for analyzing causes of the failure to report complete test result vales.
