SIMPLIFIED MODELING METHOD FOR SEISMIC ISOLATION ANALYSIS

The present invention provides a simplified modeling method for seismic isolation analysis. The present invention uses a method for making a mass of an upper structure, a rotation radius, and a center of mass to be matched with a rigidity of seismic isolation apparatus, an elasticity radius, and a center of rigidity, in order to apply a seismic isolation apparatus to large-size structures like nuclear power plants and by using the method, simplifies a plurality of seismic isolation apparatuses to a small number of seismic isolation apparatuses and performs a modeling of the simplified seismic isolation apparatuses. Accordingly, the present invention provides a simplified modeling method for seismic isolation analysis which enables to identify an appropriateness of a placement of seismic isolation apparatuses.
