The present invention relates to a underwater visible light reception apparatus for a visible light communication underwater, the invention comprising: a housing seated to a underwater movable body and having an open front; a translucent cover provided on the front of the housing and having a convex shape toward the front; an optical sensor provided inside the housing; a decoding unit for decoding a signal received through the optical sensor; a first rotation member provided to be rotated along an axial direction of the housing; a first rotation driving source provided for rotating and driving the first rotation member; a second rotation member provided at the front of the first rotation member to be rotated at one end in relation to the first rotation member and having a lens mount provided at the other end; a second rotation driving source provided for rotating and driving the second rotation member; a condensing lens provided fixedly at the other end of the second rotation member; a driving source control unit for controlling the first rotation driving source and the second rotation driving source; and a condensing lens position conversion and decoding control unit for controlling the first rotation driving source and the second rotation driving source so as to determine a position of the condensing lens where an amount of receiving light of the optical sensor becomes maximum, and for controlling the decoding unit to start decoding after converting a position of the condensing lens so that an amount of receiving light of the optical sensor becomes maximum.
