The present invention relates to a multi-layered composite material produced by thermally compressing a multi-layered sheet. The multi-layered composite material comprises: a first sheet layer produced from a solution including a nanofibrillated cellulose and a first thermoplastic matrix polymer; and a second sheet layer produced from a solution containing a second thermoplastic matrix polymer. The multi-layered composite material of the present invention has high strength and high elasticity.
