The present invention provides a method for producing a high-purity sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution. The method includes: a chlorination step (1) of performing a chlorination reaction by inserting chlorine gas in a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution; a separation step (1) of obtaining filtrate 1 by separating byproduct sodium chloride, precipitated in the chlorination step, from a reaction solution; a crystallization step (1) of precipitating crystal 1 of high-purity sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate by cooling filtrate 1; a separation step (2) of recollecting crystal 1 by separating the crystal from the reaction solution, processed by the crystallization step, and obtaining filtrate 2; a crystallization step (2) of precipitating crystal 2 of high-purity sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate by cooling filtrate 2 in the presence of seed crystal of sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate; and a separation step (3) of recollecting crystal 2 by separating crystal 2 from the reaction solution, processed by the precipitation step (2), and obtaining filtrate 3.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
