The present invention provides a pseudomonas mosselii SJ10 strain whose accession number is KCTC12469BP, a composition for degrading -caprolactam including the same as an active ingredient, and a method for degrading -caprolactam using the same wherein the pseudomonas mosselii SJ10 strain has an outstanding effect of degrading -caprolactam and is accordingly used for purifying waste water and contaminated soil.
