Disclosed in the present invention are a method for determining the good/bad quality of prepreg through an inspection on the thickness and the surface of the prepreg. The disclosed invention comprises: a step of acquiring from a photographing unit images of the surface of prepreg where linear rays are radiated (here, the linear rays are radiated from a light source unit); a step of analyzing lines of the linear rays in the images of the surface of the prepreg generated because the central axis of the light source unit and the central axis of the photographing unit have a fixed angle, and calculating an interval between the maximum value and the minimum value of the lines of the linear rays (here, the lines of the linear rays include at least one between a curved line and a partially disconnected linear line); a step of calculating the height of the prepreg using the angle, the interval, and a preset height reference value; and a step of determining the good/bad quality of the prepreg using the height of the prepreg. Therefore, the inspection method prepared by the present invention can both quickly and accurately inspect defects of the prepreg but also perform an inspection online. In addition, the inspection method can evaluate the consistency of resin content in the prepreg, and can avoid the influence of heat on the prepreg by having a small amount of heat generated from a light source.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
