The present invention relates to a method for preparing liquid calcium hydroxide. The method includes: a mixing step of mixing 70-90 wt % of water and 10-30 wt% of raw calcium oxide to obtain the mixture thereof; a hydrating and grinding step of rapidly stirring the mixture at the rotation rate of 500 to 3,000 rpm for 10-30 minutes to initiate the reaction of the raw calcium oxide and the water, hydrate the calcium oxide, grind the raw calcium oxide particles and calcium hydroxide particles at the same time, and obtain the calcium hydroxide oil having the high temperature of 30-60C; a wet-grinding step of enabling the high-temperature calcium hydroxide oil to pass through a wet-grinding apparatus and wet-grinding the calcium hydroxide while maintaining the internal temperature of the wet-grinding apparatus at the high temperature of 40-60C to obtain the liquid calcium hydroxide; and a step of wet-classifying the liquid calcium hydroxide. The present invention uses the high-purity and highly fine raw calcium hydroxide particles to combine the high-speed stirring process in the hydrating tank and the high-temperature grinding process of a wet bead mill to prepare large quantities of the high-quality liquid calcium hydroxide in a small facility installed in a small area in a short time. The present invention can also increase the production yields of the liquid calcium hydroxide per hour and reduces the manufacturing costs accordingly.
