The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of fermented green tea containing Aquilaria agallocha as an active ingredient for preventing and treating diabetes or diabetic complications.More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing, alleviating and/or treating diabetes or diabetic complications by using an extract of fermented green tea containing Aquilaria agallocha which is a biocompatible natural material. The extract of fermented green tea containing Aquilaria agallocha, according to the present invention, has an excellent effect of alleviating and treating diabetes and complications caused thereby (obesity, hyperlipidemia, liver diseases, and renal diseases) by adjusting leptin susceptibility, anti-oxidizing, or increasing pancreas fat digestive enzyme secretion, thereby being used as medicines or health functional food for preventing, alleviating, and treating diabetes or diabetic complications.
