The present invention relates to a method for extracting salt from Salicornia herbacea which is one of halophyte, and vegetable salt extracted thereby and, more specifically, to a method which is performed by the steps of: collecting Salicornia herbacea which grows by using salt as a nutrient source in mud flat or salt pan, and washing and drying the collected Salicornia herbacea; crusing the Salicornia herbacea to prepare Salicornia herbacea powder; putting the Salicornia herbacea powders into warm water and dissolving the same to separate and remove fibers, which are not dissolved in water, from the aqueous solution; and distilling and drying the remaining aqueous solution to pulverize salt dissolved in the aqueous solution.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
