Provided are a secondary battery and a secondary battery system. The secondary battery for producing hydrogen comprises: a liquid cathode unit including a sodium-containing solution and a cathode current collector dipped in the sodium-containing solution; an anode unit including a liquid organic electrolyte, an anode current collector dipped in the liquid organic electrolyte, and an anode active material layer disposed on a surface of the anode current collector; a solid electrolyte disposed between the cathode unit and the anode unit; and a hydrogen discharging unit connected to the cathode unit, and withdrawing hydrogen generated from the cathode unit to the outside during discharge.
