The present invention relates to a color video fire detection device and method strong against wrong detection of a blinking pseudo-flame and, more specifically, to a color video fire detection device and method strong against wrong detection of a blinking pseudo-flame, which process sequentially a flame candidate area movement analysis step; a color analysis step; and a wavelet coefficient analysis step in order to remove wrong detection due to the blinking pseudo-flame while enhancing fire detection accuracy in the color video, thereby enhancing fire detection accuracy and reducing wrong detection.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
