COMPOSITION FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING OBESITY CONTAINING EXTRACT OF HIZIKIA FUSIFORME AND A METHOD OF PREPARTING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a composition for treating or preventing obesity containing a hizikia fusiforme extract as an active ingredient and a method for preparing the same. The hizikia fusiforme extract, as an active ingredient of the present invention, may be obtained through the steps of: manufacturing a hizikia fusiforme hot water extract; obtaining supernatant of the hizikia fusiforme extract; and obtaining the supernatant of the hizikia fusiforme extract by performing an ethanol precipitation process for the supernatant of the hizikia fusiforme extract, and removing precipitate. The hizikia fusiforme extract, obtained by the method of the present invention, is completed by confirming excellent effects of inhibiting the differentiation of preadipocyte (3T3-L1) into a fat cell and of inhibiting the accumulation of fat cells in the supernatant of the hizikia fusiforme extract, unlike precipitate obtained by ethanol precipitation from general marine plants, containing polysaccharides of marine plants, has various functionalities. Therefore, the hizikia fusiforme hot water extract does not have cytotoxicity; does not cause a side effect by using only natural and edible materials; and can be widely used for treating or preventing obesity due to having the effects of treating, improving, and preventing obesity.
