The present invention relates to a D2D communications method for power saving in a UE-relay operation and, more particularly, to a D2D communications method and a terminal capable of reducing power consumption in a device relay using a D2D discovery. The present invention relates to a relay communications method and a terminal performing the same. The relay communications method of the terminal includes the steps of: performing a relay communications by serving at least one different terminal; performing a device-to-device discovery for searching an adjacent relay terminal; and finishing the serving of at least one different terminal and entering a power saving mode if the adjacent relay terminal satisfying a preset condition is searched as the search result.
